Wandering ivy cables will keep your interest with their asymmetry while a plain background of reverse stockinette will give your mind a rest. An addictive combination of simplicity and visual interest will carry you through this fairly quick knit vest. The beautiful “Norbouillet” yarn is a joy to work with, and showcases the cable to perfection.

The vest is knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. The shoulder seams are made with slipped stitches and a Three-Needle Bind-Off.

Sizes:

S (M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X) to fit hip circumference 36” (39”, 43”, 47”, 51”, 55”)/91.5 cm (99 cm, 109 cm, 119.5 cm, 129.5 cm, 139.5 cm) and high bust circumference 32” (35”, 38”, 41”, 44”, 48”)/ 81 cm (89 cm, 96.5 cm, 104 cm, 111.5 cm, 122 cm) with 1 - 2” (2.5 - 5 cm) positive ease.

Yarn: DK weight
Pine Hollow Farm, 60% Norbouillet wool/40% mohair, 258 yds (236 m)/100 g.
Yardage: S = 622 yds; M = 702 yds; L = 790 yds; 1X = 850 yds; 2X = 943 yds; 3X = 1011 yds.
Needles: US Size 6 / 4 mm, 32"(80 cm) and 20"(50 cm) circular needles, plus 1 or 2 DPNs for Three-Needle Bind-Off.
Gauge: 22 sts & 29 rows = 4"(10 cm) in Stockinette stitch, blocked.
