This is a perennially favourite yarn construction: loose fluffy mohair spun around a core of silk, and rendered by Ms. Bliss in her signature on-point colourways. The mohair stands out in a soft halo that is unmatched by any other fibre, and the silk core runs through it like a shining cobweb. The both the silk and mohair have natural shine, but the silk core also stands out from the mohair because the two different fibres take the dye differently. The silk doesn't absorb dye in the same way as the mohair so the silk core is naturally lighter than the rest of the yarn. A beautiful effect in the ball as well as in your finished project.
A note on colour: Although I do my very best to capture the colours of the yarns accurately, differences in lighting, display settings, and computer screens can affect how you see the colours represented. A good way to double check that you're getting the colour you expect is to visit the yarn's Ravelry page and check out others' pictures of the colourway you're after.
