Surina Wood Hand-turned Knitting Needles

Surina wood comes from the Portia tree, native to India and Polynesia. The wood is prized for its carvability, softness, beautiful grain, and range of natural colours.

These needles are hand-turned by artisans in India and are finished without the use of harmful chemicals that can pollute water systems and harm workers.  They are super smooth, with a fairly sharp tip.  Every set is subtly different in shade, from pale to dark red wood. The colour of your needles will depend on your size & length selection.

Each needle is stamped with its US and metric size.  Available in 10"/12"/14" lengths to suit any size project.
